Hyundai Elevator Co., South Korea’s leading elevator maker, has teamed up with telecom giant KT Corp. to promote the digital transformation (DX) of elevators with artificial intelligence (AI), voice recognition and self-driving robots. On the basis of face recognition technology, Hyundai Elevator also plans to develop a customized personal elevator that enables the adjustment of lighting and provision of music and other content depending on user preferences.
