Insights from these trials will inform future tests to create touchless waypoints throughout the customer’s entire airport experience, including a test of biometric domestic boarding. The trial includes touchless bag drops to test biometric technology that will permit passengers to drop their bags without searching for their physical ID or boarding pass and touchless entrance to its Admirals Club lounges that will offer touch-free ways to read news, magazines, and select mobile ordering.
